Model:DAC-IR-2C
IRON
LOSS TESTER
SUMMARY:
This instrument can measure the iron loss of electrical steel
sheet. The Epstein Test is used extensively as the standard
method for measuring iron loss. it requires, however, the preparation
of special test samples and considerable time to make the required
measurements.
The DAC-IR-2C is a Yoke Type Iron Loss Tester and has a great
advantage compared to the Epstein method in that it provides
a direct reading of iron loss scaled in watts per kilogram or
watts per pound from a single sheet sample. It has been designed
compact in size and simple to operate, thus is greatly helpful
for quality management of steel sheets on various job sites.
Superceding the former portable type Iron Loss Tester DAC-IR-2
made in Japan SOKEN, DAC-IR-2C provides convenient and fast
measurement of the core loss of Electrical Steel Sheet individual
pieces and laminations of all sizes and shapes, simply by placing
the probe. It measures the Iron Loss in W/kg indicating it on
a large LED readout Display.
DAC-IR-2C can test the Min 5 mm* of Width and the Max 0.99 mm
of Thickness for any shapes of Electrical Steel Sheet.
Application:
Acceptance testing by user and supplier of electrical steel
for stamping, annealing and final assembly of laminated cores.
The Tester can be used for identification of Electrical Steel
Iron Loss grade or finished lamination cores refer to Fig 1. |
Features:
Portable, Light Tester with good reproducibility. Direct large
LED readout of W/kg 50Hz. Simple front panel controls. Operation
has been made more consistent with new Probe and Repeat Fixture.
Magnetic flux density can be set at 1.5 or 1.7 Tesla selectable
separately for Non Oriented or Oriented Grain Steel Sheet. The
Power Supply AC Voltage is 100V or 220V.

Magnetic Characteristics Measuring Equipment□ |
Model:DAC-BHW-5
ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET TESTER
Magnetic material for electric appliance is evaluatd by Magnetizing Force(H),
Magnetic Flux Density (B) and Iron Loss (W). This magnetic characteristics test
has so far been conducted by the 25cm Epstein method as the most common practice.
However, EPSTEIN requires a lot of test samples and special preparation and operation
skill as well. As an optimum means for quality control of electrical steel sheets,
th einstrument is broadly utilized among producer and fabricators of electrical
steel sheet as well as users of such materials like transformer manufacturers,
motor manufacturers, etc.
Application:Electromagnetic steel
sheet, applicable to both directioned or non-directioned |
Feature: ◆ Test
can be done with small quality of specimen(single sheet)
◆ Measurement results
are closely coincidental with those data obtained by Epstein method.
◆ Influence
by the gap between test specimen and detector has been minimized.
Fuctions:
◆ Magnetization condition flux sine wave
◆ Size of Testing Sample Thickness 0.100~1.00mm Length 60mm
or longer
Width D1:10.0~50.0mm: D2:10.0~100.0mm
◆ Measuring range
